A Different Kind of Coming Out Party

Tonight at Westside Grill, Tobi celebrated the future coming out of her uterus :) This celebration was the brainchild and event of Lisa Clark. Tobi was surrounded by four very attentive members of her bookclub and four very animated middle school colleagues.

I made the cake featuring little sprinkles as follicles, complete with a color coded key so the doc will know which part to remove.

Karen made the flower arrangements. Posies sat in tampon filled vases, vases sat in empty tampon boxes and flowers emerged from the plastic gentle glide applicators. Way to reduce, reuse and recycle, Karen. OK not reuse.

Tobi was showered by many thoughtful gifts, including items with which to pamper herself, books, and brain exercisers. One book she received is one that will probably top our bookclub list, Drink, Play, and F@#k.

Tobi, good luck on your little adventure next Thursday. Remember to have someone there to push the morphine button asap! Enjoy the nice warm blankets, TLC, and room service! We will want to hear all about it :)
