After a very nice, unseasonably warm graduation ceremony, we went to Grandma Polly's house for lots of laughs and food. Stephen and Julie took care of the BBQ (they should start a service), Christie was the event decorator extraordinaire, Jay was the happy grad, I was the proud momma, and family and close friends made the day perfect. We missed having other VIPs, Mark in Hinsdale, Il. (running a half marathon today), Uncle George (hope your dad is recovering quickly), Christina (missed your laughter), Mad and Mike (fighting black flies in Maine), and the Saunders (having fun visiting little grandson Leo in Woodland).

Marching in.

This was like kindergarten. All the guys sat in one place and all the girls sat in another. Strange!!!

After a while I guess they all decided they wouldn't get cooties and sat together.

Stephen grilling lots of New York steaks and kabobs.

Jay and John. Smile John.

So happy this day finally arrived!

The proud seesters!

Aggggh, so much for family photos!

Jay towering over Granda Polly. She is small but sooooo mighty! No political arguments today!!

Christie made Tibetan style flags with Jay's crazy photos on them.

She put her GHS cheerleader skills together for this great sign.

I think we really need to fix that fence. I never noticed it was missing a board before!

Frankie (my granddog) and Julie, a match made in heaven.

Yes, I see you have food in your mouth.

Jay likes his Auntie Sharon a lot.
