Well it happened again :( We tried to catch a leprechaun and failed!!!! We sprayed a box gold and left enticing notes welcoming the wee folk. We collected rocks from the sandbox and sprayed them gold and then put them in a pile under the box . Then we made a trail of the gold from the box to the front door. A ruler held the box up and it was connected to a string which was connected to some gold. While we were at the aquarium, the little guys sprang the trap, scattered the gold, left green footprints all over the classroom, wrote a note on the chalkboard, turned over chairs and tossed around lots green balloons, mints, gold coins, and squishy snakes. The insult of all insults is that they tried to dye Fo Fo the hamster green. What nerve!!

You are amazing! I love hearing these stories. I vote that you teach forever so that when I finally procreate I can move to Gilroy so my child can be in your class!
I SECOND MEGHAN'S COMMENT. WELL DONE MA'AM. TOO CUTE.
I need to send you a picture of the Leprechaun's home at our school. The engineer got a little creative this year. AMAZING! Glad those little little buggers are bi-coastal.
