3 teachers, 62 students and about as many parents went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium today. It was actually beautiful weather and all the animals were showing off for us. The otters were playing with some of the same toys Luke plays with and the jellies were outrageously beautiful as usual.
My favorite animal at the aquarium is the leafy sea dragon, a type of seahorse. There was another one called the weedy seahorse. There will be an exhibit opening there next month featuring searhorses.
The shark pics are for shark huntress Christine, who in her younger more carefree days caught and released the creatures off of Half Moon Bay.
The bus driver knew where he was going and the kids were all actively engaged in something or other. Quite a few fell asleep on the bus ride home.

Love the notation that the bus driver knew where they were going. I've been on two where they didn't. Not fun!!! Great aquarium photos!
great pics peems, but i'm not an old goat just yet! That was only five years ago, and it was 18 sharks and 2 sting rays to be exact!
