January Book Club Feast

This evening we had the pleasure of feasting at Tobi's house. She made beef burgundy and a wonderful salad with pears, feta and a great sweet and sour dressing. The sour dough bread was perfect for sopping up the jus (so poetic huh?) Karen brought some unique little appetizers with soy butter and goat cheese and Lisa brought some scrumptious chocolate on chocolate brownies. Jan and I brought some red wine to add to Tobi's. The book du jour was The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by, Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows. Those of us who read it, loved it and highly recommend it to others :)
