Pony Bronco League World Series, Monterey, CA

Jay, Grandma and I went to see my cousin Rosemarie's grandson, Nick Russo, #3, play in the Bronco World Series in Monterey. It was held at Jack's Park and the weather was absolutely perfect. The game began at 5 p.m and lasted for around 3 hours. Didn't even need a jacket.

Since Monterey was hosting the event they were given a spot in the tournament. They played Mexico City. Mexico was ahead by 15 when Nick got a double then was batted in. Later on he hit a ball out of the park to drive in 3 more runs. The end score was 15 to 7, Mexico City. Great weather and an exciting finish made the day.
